Barbara’s vision for creating Indoor Cycle Design began as a frustrated instructor teaching at a big box club. Rather than complain about the poor sound system and constant distractions, she took a risk and offered the club owner a win-win proposition: Remodel the studio using her own funds, and if membership did not increase she would not be reimbursed. Armed with a nail gun, table saw, and gallons of donated paint, Barbara worked every night after the club closed to create a mesmerizing cycling sanctuary featuring a drastic new layout with flawless sound and theater illumination. Within 3 months of unveiling the new studio, club membership doubled and a new era in indoor cycling began.
Barbara is a featured columnist and presenter for Club Industry, REX Roundtables for Executives, World Spinning® and Sports Conference, and Indoor Cycle Podcast.
Her energy and vision are contagious, adding life to every project commissioned.
